Real Plans Inc. is a US-based company showcasing a meal-planning app that is versatile and assists consumers globally to plan their meals, shop for ingredients, and cook the meals in their plan. Real Plans was placed as the 91st fastest-growing tech company in the Inc. 500 in 2018. I was involved in the development process transitioning from weekly pdf meal plans mailed to customer base to a fully integrated mobile application servicing thousands of users. Our staff has been located all around the world in remote positions including India, Philippines, New Zealand, Australia, United Kingdom and the United States. My position entailed liaising with and co-ordinating tasks between all staff. Much of my essential role was to keep things moving forward when the owners were not present to deal with operational tasks.
Customer Service: Managed a customer service team operational 24/7 with shift management software with staff located around the globe. Support pertained to product support, cancellations, pre-sales questions, new business opportunities, and the final approval of refunds. Responded to support emails, live chat, social media, and voicemails.
Finance: Timesheet approval, managing accounts receivable, administering payroll, payments and reconciliations for 200 affiliates/contributors, reconciliations, refunds on multiple platforms, and subscription management and reconciliations.
Content Creation: Writing marketing emails, setting up email flows, sourcing images, adding and editing SAAS app content, search engine optimization, CMS web development of landing pages and blog, proofreading eBooks, and social media content creation.
